Last weekend we took a short trip to Dumont Sand Dunes. It's on the Border or Death Valley just outside of Baker Ca. We meet the Ellerbeck's. One the way there we had some crazy strong wing. Gusts over 40 mph and to add to that our awning on the Motor home decided to half way open while we were driving. For about 45 mins both Nick and I were on the roof trying to fix it and holding on for dear life. Finally a nice couple stopped and helped us put the awning back together. Then we were on the way. 2out of the 4 days we had great weather. It was fun to see everybody. Nick loves riding with his family and spraying them with sand. Chase loved the quads and all the buggies. Dumont has the most amazing buggies. There everywhere you look! It's so fun to watch them drive around. The drive ended up being about 7 1/2 hours with stops. Chase did very well for a very active 1 year old. He doesn't like to sit for long so the car seat has been a bit of a challenge.
